Mar 15, 2010INISHEER is the smallest of the islands (1,400 acres) and is an outcrop of the famous Burren landscape in Co. Clare. Having an abundance of flora, fauna, and nesting birds it is a haven for botanists and nature lovers. The everyday language of the islanders is Irish and their songs and stories enshrine much of Ireland's folklore and ancient culture. It boasts one of the most beautiful beaches on the western seaboard.

Our ferries leave Doolin pier daily for Inisheer (inis oirr). Doolin is the closest port to the island and the crossing takes only 25 mins. This makes our service the fastest crossing to the Aran Islands.
Once you arrive on Inisheer you can rent a bike or take a guided tour of the island with the Pony and Traps.
